The Turkish national team will be playing a couple of exhibition games in the United States coming up in May. On May 22nd, Turkey will be playing the Czech Republic in a rematch from the heralded Euro 2008 group stage match at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey. On May 29th, Turkey will be playing the United States at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The May 29th match will serve as the World Cup sendoff for the United States. This will be an interesting time for the Turkish team. With the prospects of Guus Hiddink taking over as national team coach in August, this will serve as a test to see who will step up to get noticed. With Euro 2012 qualifiers around the corner, it will be interesting to see who will be called up to play these matches. Oguz Cetin will serve as the temporary coach while Guus Hiddink serves out his contract with the Russian Football Union.
